Insert bearings Y bearings are frequently used on conveyer and handling systems, agricultural, processing, and packing equipment, textile equipment, and other gear such as gym equipment and car wash equipment. Without using shoulders or adapters, these products and large inner ring bearings are mounted on shafts. Setscrews or a locking collar are used to secure the bearing in place. Insert bearing Y bearings filled with lubricating grease and ready for installation. These are based on sealed deep groove ball bearings in the 62 and 63 series, but they have an outer ring that is convex.
